Basic Pitch is a New York City based a cappella group made up of 10 women that believe fiercely in the power of sisterhood and song.

Hailing from a range of musical backgrounds that includes both professional a cappella and musical theater, the women of Basic Pitch founded the group in 2015 not just as an outlet for their mutual passion for singing, but to build a collective of strong women who share a love of music. We've taken our fun and boisterous live show to classic New York venues like the Bitter End, The Delancey, and Arlene's Grocery, and our diverse roster of songs includes covers by everyone from Stevie Nicks, to Kendrick Lamar, to the Spice Girls. Our name is #basic; our music is anything but.
